Minimum entry requirements:
1. Hold a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) approved
2. Must be currently registered as an RPN in good standing in your country of origin or a nurse graduate from the RPN program in Canada
3. A minimum TOEFL score of 550 preferred (if applicable)
In order to become a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Ontario (ON), nurses are required to pass the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE). The examination measures the competencies required of entry-level nurses for safe and effective practice.
